ART005_SM/MM Indoor Simplex Optical Cable Tight Buffer

Indoor fiber optic cables are used exclusively within buildings and must have a flame-retardant jacket to fit this purpose(LSZH). Flame resistant cable may be deployed in duct (conduit) or cable tray. When routing a cable within a building, you will also need to factor in fire prevention requirements. With simplex cable, bi-directional communication on a single fiber requires WDM (using different wavelengths for TX and RX). If you need standard duplex communication without WDM, you'd use the duplex version instead.

Products Overview

Keyed Characteristic

1. Low transmission attenuation and dispersion;
2. High Bandwidth with multimode fiber OM1/OM2/OM3/OM4;
3. Aramid yarn armouring ensures the tensile performance and good flexibility of the optical cable;
4. Lighter weight , compact structure and Small Diameter 2.0/3.0;
5. Flane retartant LSZH out jacket for indoor using.

Application

FTTH (Fiber to the Home) drop cables — one fiber per home;
PON (Passive Optical Network) connections;
Single-fiber bi-directional links using WDM (wavelength division multiplexing);
Instrumentation and sensing where only one fiber is needed;
Patch cords for single-fiber ports.
