ART_006 Flat Oval Drop Fiber Optic Cable GYFXTBY

GYFXTBY is a flat oval, all-dielectric drop cable commonly used in FTTH (Fiber to the Home) networks. Its name describes its key physical trait: it's a flat cable designed to be unobtrusive when routed along walls or through tight spaces. It is made of multiple ( 1 – 12 cores ) 250 μm colored optical fibers ( single mode or multi-mode fibers ) embedded in the internally filled waterproof compound loose tube made of high-modulus plastic, a non-metallic tensile element ( FRP ) is placed on both sides of the loose tube, and a rip cord is placed on its outer layer, and then the high-density polyethylene is extruded to form an HDPE sheath.

Products Overview

Key Features & Applications

✅ Non-Metallic & Lightweight: The all-dielectric structure makes it immune to electromagnetic interference and lightning strikes, and it is easy to lay.
✅ Stable Performance: The "runway" (flat) structure avoids the risk of water accumulation, icing, or "egg cocoon" effects that can occur in traditional round cables, ensuring stable optical transmission.
✅ Easy Installation: It is designed to be easily peeled for quick stripping and splicing, reducing installation time.
✅ Primary Use: Ideal for FTTH drop connections, both for aerial installation and indoor surface routing along walls or skirting boards.
