Cable Sheath Marking

The Fibre Optic Drop Wires shall bear proper identification markings as specified in ICEA S-110-717 paragraphs 6.1 to 6.3.

Markings shall include:

◘ “Optical Cable”

◘ Fiber Type e.g. “SMF” “BIF”

Each complete length of wire shall have sequentially numbered legible length markers at regular Intervals of not more than 1 m along the jacket. The actual wire length will not be shorter than the wire length indicated by the length markers but may be up to 1% longer.

Standard reel length: 500m/reel/box,1000m/reel, other length is also available.


Cable Packing

Both ends of the cable will be sealed with suitable plastic caps to prevent the entry of moisture during shipping, handing and storage. The inner end is available for testing.
