Cable Sheath Marking

The Fibre Optic Drop Wires shall bear proper identification markings as specified in ICEA S-110-717 paragraphs 6.1 to 6.3.

Markings shall include:

◘ Manufacturer’s Name

◘ Month/Year of Manufacture e.g. “05/22”

◘ “Optical Cable”

◘ Fiber Type e.g. “SMF” “BIF”

◘ “indoor” or “Indoor/Outdoor”

◘ Flammability Listing

◘ Length Markings in Meter

◘ Identification symbol for communication cable (i.e. handset symbol)

Each complete length of wire shall have sequentially numbered legible length markers at regular Intervals of not more than 1 m along the jacket. The actual wire length will not be shorter than the wire length indicated by the length markers but may be up to 1% longer.

Reel Length

Standard reel length: 500m/reel/box,1000m/reel, other length is also available.

Cable Packing

Both ends of the cable will be sealed with suitable plastic caps to prevent the entry of moisture during shipping, handing and storage. The inner end is available for testing.

✔ FTTH Projects: Used to connect distribution points to individual homes or buildings.

✔ Aerial Installations: Suitable for outdoor aerial applications due to its self-supporting design.

✔ High-Speed Networks: Ideal for high-performance optical networks in buildings and industrial areas.

The GJYFXY-1G.657A1 fiber optical cable is a versatile and reliable solution for FTTH and outdoor fiber optic communication networks. Its self-supporting design, durable construction, and high performance make it a preferred choice for connecting distribution points to subscribers' premises. The GJYFXY-1G.657A1 fiber optical cable is a type of fiber optic cable designed for outdoor FTTH (Fiber to the Home) applications. It is commonly used in access networks and last-mile solutions to connect end users' homes.
