✔ Waterproofing: The gaps within the cable core are filled with water-blocking compounds to prevent water from traveling along the cable, a feature crucial for direct burial.

✔ Inner Sheath: A corrugated aluminum tape (APL) is longitudinally wrapped and covered with a Polyethylene (PE) inner sheath. This layer provides excellent moisture-proofing.
✔ Outer Armor & Sheath: A corrugated steel tape (PSP) is longitudinally wrapped over the inner sheath and then extruded with a black, UV-resistant PE outer sheath. This steel armor provides high resistance to crushing, impact, and rodent attack.
✔ Outer Sheath: The final layer is a black, UV-resistant Polyethylene (PE) jacket, which is durable for outdoor environments. A low-smoke zero-halogen (LSZH) version (GYTZA53) is also available for applications with stricter fire safety requirements.

Application

The GYTA53 is a double-armored, loose tube, layer-stranded outdoor fiber optic cable.
